[Shino hadn't heard from Naruto in quite a while so he decided to swing by the Hyperactive Knuckle-headed ninja's house in order to check on him annoy him with bugs. Upon arriving however, he found that nothing was there besides the standard furniture. He let out an inaudible mental sigh before opening his journal and making and entry about his friends annoyances departure.]

For all who knew him… Naruto has been returned home.

I hear that's what happens when people leave this place.

[There's a long pause as Shikamaru tries to figure out how he feels about this. His initial response surprises him, brief as it is. When push comes to shove, he's always known that he'd prefer being here by himself over having anyone from home with him, but he'd have to be lying to not admit to himself that he isn't a little homesick.
