[Anyone wandering into the flower shop today is going to notice a young man in New Feather pants lying on a bed of daffodils. No, he’s not a new resident, but he WAS mallynapped and the ~~mun~~ Malnosso decided this would be a really funny way of returning him back to the village apparently. He’s still unconscious though and some of his bugs have managed to wander away from him and are now pollinating various flowers around the shop. Soon, Shino’s eyes spring open and he notices this wasn’t the comfy bed he was lying in pre-mallynapping..]

[Luckily his goggles are on the ground nearby and he quickly picks them up and slides them over his head. He can’t have people seeing his real eyes and all of that. Argh, out of all the places to return to… Shino is hoping that he’ll be able to make it outside, and take the back roads in order to get home without being spotted, but no way his luck will be that good. He is actually tempted to just say screw it and start roof jumping at full speed back towards the apartment, buuut that might actually end up being more noticeable.

Feel free to notice these unintentional Shino!shenanigans! Either at the flower shop, during roof top jumping, or him taking the back roads to his apartment.]

Yes. I have only been conscious for a little more than a few minutes... which explains my attire. [You know, on the very slight chance she thought he actually went to the store and picked this out or something.]

[ While ninja in general make questionable fashion choices, thinking he actually choose that attire never once crossed her mind. The thought of someone like Shino even considering wearing so little is almost enough to make her smile. But the rest of that sentence keeps her from doing so. ]

That seems strange...to wake up in such clothes. But, um, I think we can talk about that later. I'm sure you'd like to head in and change, at least?

[Actually he didn't. He just had bugs shoved down his throat really. But he knows you take a keen liking to Naruto, for... some reason. So he's going to do you a solid and ~~force~~ ask Naruto politely to go on a date-esque situation with you. Since you guys haven't hung out that much since you got here.

Yeah, yeah Shino's the bestest friend ever and all that.]

[ Yeah, one day. She understands because, really, this is a meeting best forgotten.

Or it would have been. Except you said the magic word. Now she will remember it. Forever. Because--dear hokage--Naruto? Wanting to hang out with her? Never mind the fact that it's odd that you would talk to Naruto long enough for any topic surrounding her to come up, or why he would go through you instead of just going up a few flights of stairs and asking her himself...

Yeah, never mind any of that. Because he actually wants to spend time with her! Even though she knows it would only be something of a date on her end.

Excuse the few long moments of silence as the blush on her face gets darker and she tries to find some words. ]

But like her mind's on that. Sorry, Shino, she knows you just got back and all from being kidnapped, but this news has made her giddy. Just give her a very long moment to try and pull her brain together. Or to remember that he knows about her feelings. ]

So soon..? But, at the very least, it'll be nice to spend time with him. And, um, we...we should try and do the same. Especially after...this.

[Yeah, he knows there's a chance that'll happen, but still. Getting out and having fun will be good for her. Especially in a place like this.
