[Two things was wrong when Shino woke up this morning: for one he had slept over the time he was supposed to by like ten or fifteen minutes (obv a big deal). And two, he wasn’t in his normal sleeping clothes. Instead he looked down only to be greeted by a pair of white cotton pants… very strange indeed. After getting his normal clothes on, he’ll address the journals.]

Is it… normal to awake in New Feather attire?

[As usual Shino isn't doing anything particularly interesting today. He’s just at the lovsl grocery store. And right now he’s looking through the winter melons. Now, with Shino being well-— Shino, he has to find the very most ripe winter melon out of the ones available. And right now he's down to two of them; one in each hand. He was lifting his hands up and down trying to see which one had the most proper weight to it.

But the interesting part was that while he was doing this, thousands upon thousands of tiny little itty bitty beetle bugs begin to emerge from his clothing and very slowly start to cover his body in themselves. Not that he seems to notice this however. He’s far too busy testing the weight of these winter melons to notice.]


[ ooc: SO! Shino was mallynapped and stuff guys! IN HIS SLEEP! But luckily it was only for last night. He’s returned now with a new mallynap effect: he’s going to very slowly, but surely start to lose control of his little bug friends that he keeps stored inside of his body. This is the first in a series of post about the affect actually! o/

[Hmm. He might actually recognize this guy from all the journal stalking he does, but he doesn't really remember anything specific. Just kinda "oh that one guy I think I remember from the journals" kind of thing.]

If you are sure. However, being stubborn is not necessarily a good treatment when it comes to dealing with the effects after a kidnapping.

I would not go so far as to say it is stubbornness.

[And he'll just let you walk away. But that was really rude you know. Walking away without saying goodbye like that. You know, he's been practicing being social and that is definitely not how you walk away in regular social conversation. You have to say "bye" first and stuff.

His mild disapproval of Duke's actions is going to trigger a major reaction out of his bugs. And they're going to FLY TOWARDS HIM--! And swarm around him all annoyingly and stuff.]

[ w/e w/e. Up until those bugs come out. Duke would have reacted with more aggression, but seeing how they're merely swarming, he takes a passive-but-wary role.

Insert Duke eyeing Shino here. ] What is your intent with this act?

It is not... particularly my doing.

[He recalls a decent number of them but some of them try to land on Duke and BITE HIM! It will probably hurt a little. Beetle bites hurt after all.]

[They will buzz around him a little longer before Shino establishes SOME control at least and causes them to come back.]
